Emma Ridley

Emma Ridley, PhD student registered with University of York UK spent the first year of her PhD in York (2007-8), second year on industrial placement at Oxitec Ltd (2008-9), and final year at Cornell University (2009-10), with financial support from a BBSRC-CASE studentship.

Emma has successfully graduated, after defending her PhD thesis on "The Impact of Chlortetracycline on Drosophila melanogaster and Aedes aegypti".  Emma has returned to the UK, where she is working for Professional Information Ltd, Richmond.  Congratulations to Emma!
