I am the lab manager which means I get to whip everyone into shape as well as help out with their projects, not to mention some of my own experiments. I work with both aphids and drosophila in the lab so I do a range of work, including dissections, nutrition assays, PCR and Immunohistochemistry. Outside of the lab I am happy reading a good book, hiking, golfing, rock climbing, running with my dog and getting together with friends and family.
