5th Annual Arthropod Genomics Symposium

The meeting was a celebration of recent advances in the genomics of insects (and some spiders), and included important discussions of i5k.
The meeting included a pre-symposium workshop organized by the International Aphid Genomics Consortium. Angela presented a talk on the Proteome of the Pea Aphid, summarizing our recent NIH-funded work applying quantitative proteomics to the pea aphid, its bacteriocytes and endosymbiotic bacteria Buchnera, conducted in collaboration with Dr Klaas van Wijk (Poliakov et al. 2011).
